Next week, The Whaleman Foundation’s founder, Jeff Pantukhoff, will be among the esteemed guests at Secretary of State John Kerry’s inaugural conference to advance protections for our oceans. Jeff was personally invited by Secretary Kerry and he will be joining Presidents, Ministers, and Heads of State from over 80 countries who will be attending this prestigious event and we are honored to have this opportunity to continue working with Secretary Kerry.
In 2008, Jeff, along with our international spokesperson Hayden Panettiere, participated in a press conference with then Senator John Kerry (D) along with
Congressmen Nick Rahall (D), and Chris Shays (R). The hi-powered group called on the Bush Administration to stand up for whales at the International Whaling Commission along with calling for stronger protections for our oceans and all marine life.
In the run up to this ground-breaking International Ocean Conference, Secretary Kerry has issued a “Call to Action” to people around the world to make their own personal commitments to create a healthier ocean.
